About

Bridging clinical practice, graduate education, and emerging technology

I earned my PsyD in Marital and Family Therapy from The Chicago School, where I now serve as Division Chair for the Marriage and Family Therapy program across three campuses and an online modality. My background spans clinical training, licensure and accreditation, and academic leadership across higher education and clinical practice. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, a Clinical Fellow of AAMFT, and a site visitor for COAMFTE, the field's accrediting body.

More recently, my scholarship and speaking have centered on the use of artificial intelligence in clinical training and practice. Students and clinicians are already using these tools, so my interest is in how to use them while protecting confidentiality, informed consent, and the clinical relationship. I am also a practicing clinician, and that perspective shapes how I assess these tools, weighing their benefit to clients and to mental health care overall.
